Dudek Launches Solo 2: A Dual-Purpose Reflex Wing for Paramotoring and Paragliding

Dudek has introduced the Solo 2, a versatile reflex wing designed for both paramotoring and free-flight paragliding. The wing carries EN-B certification for paragliding weight ranges when flown with trimmers closed, making it an appealing option for pilots who enjoy both powered and unpowered flight.

Rather than simply refreshing the original Solo, Dudek says they’ve redefined what an entry-level reflex wing can achieve. Enhanced passive safety and a refined three-line design have enabled EN-B certification for free-flight, something the company describes as creating the ideal dual-purpose tool for flight schools and pilots who split their time between powered and unpowered adventures.

According to Dudek, key improvements include effortless launches, better efficiency during powered flight and a more natural, fluid feel in free flight compared to the previous generation. The risers have been simplified for more intuitive operation and feature trimmers. The wing has an aspect ratio of 5.4.

The fundamental character of the original Solo remains intact. Dudek emphasizes that it’s still a fully reflex paramotor wing that combines enjoyable flying characteristics with strong collapse resistance.

The Dudek Solo 2 is available in four sizes — 20, 22, 24 and 27 — and comes in three colour options.
