Woody Valley Unveils Wanì 4 Harness with Innovative Spring Protection System

Italian manufacturer Woody Valley has released the fourth iteration of its popular Wanì open harness — the Wanì 4. Building on years of customer feedback, the new model brings a refined geometry, improved stability and a unique back protection system that the brand says is the only one of its kind.

The Wanì 4 is a reversible harness with a detachable rucksack. Its standout feature is the self-inflating back protection, which uses a spring system to guarantee complete inflation even before take-off — without the need for conventional front or side inflation valves.

“It guarantees complete inflation even before take-off,” Woody Valley said. “Proof of this is the fact that there is neither the classic front nor side inflation valve.”

Woody Valley says the harness is ideal for new pilots, but equally suitable for experienced pilots who prioritise safety and comfort in flight. Other features include a spacious back pocket, Camelbak pocket and a compression system closure.
